Prospect Lodge 578, F&AM was Constituted by the Grand Lodge of PA on April 11th, 1889. At that time, the town was named " Moores ", and the lodge was situated at the top of Prospect Hill, giving the Lodge the name. At a later period, the town park was named Prospect Park, to which the town was eventually renamed. It was, however, a requirement of the Moore family that the Train Station bear the Moore family name, and to this day the station is called " Moores Prospect Park Station ". |
